So what's the process when you show up with your never used Annual Pass coupon? (small card with magnetic tape on back).

I guess you have to go get your picture taken and have a "real" card issued.

Can you do this at your on-site hotel or do you just go to the park?

You use the ticket to get in to USF (I'm not sure if they do it at IOA, I don't think so for some reason though ...) and then immediately turn to the left and there's a both where they process your annual pass and exchange your ticket for it. That ticket will work for the one admission to get in the park and exchange it for an annual pass.

The area is called Vacation Services and it's at both parks. It can be a bit slow moving so count on it taking up about 20 to 30 minutes or more if there's a line.

You can do it at either park, and you make an immediate left after entering. It's the building just before the exit at each park. You gotta get your pass processed after you enter the park, you can't do it at your hotel. Now wouldn't that be another perk for onsite guests, AP processing in their hotel at the checkin desk or something? Wait for me was 30 minutes at IOA on a Saturday afternoon. I planned for the wait and didn't mind, I'd say there was 30 people. If the line is real long, you can come back another time, but each person in your party must be there, because they'll take a picture and make a card, and you must do it before you leave the park.

We processed ours on a Sunday morning at around 11am. We waited for 5 minutes for our turn and it then took about 10 minutes for our family of 6. Not bad.
