Annual Pass picking up at will call.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked and answered before but I'm just trying to be 100% certain that I've got it right.
I'm considering ordering an annual pass for my vacation in November and picking it up at Will Call.
I want to be able to link it in advance to MDE so that when the time comes I can make FP+ reservations and also buy the MVMCP tickets using the small AP discount. Once buying it do you get an e number confirmation sent to your email address when you order it which works with the app, and then you pick it up at Guest Relations outside the park and activate it on your first visit?

Why not get the vouchers delivered to you? They are linked to MDE immediately for FP+ and passholder room discounts but won't be activated until you redeem them at Guest Relations.

I live in the UK and Disney want an extra $25 to ship them so I'm just trying to avoid this charge if I can, because I only need them in advance for MDE and FP+.

You won't need paper vouchers. Take the confirmation number they give you and link it to MDX and then when you are at WDW use that number to have your pass activated.

I tried to upgrade from our 8 day park hopper to AP, but since I purchased my package through AAA they told me I had to wait until we got down there on our trip and go to the ticket window.

I bought my APs from the WDW site while logged into my MDE. During the purchase, I was asked who they were for and automatically linked when I completed the purchase.

• That's exactly how it worked for me. I bought 4 APs and my family friend list popped by and it told me to pick who each ap was to be linked to. Did it for all of us and activated pass at international gateway after arriving with no problem. Was also able to make FP selections at the 60 day mark.

You can't upgrade until you get down to Disney, but you can link the ticket you have now to MDE
