annual pass photpass?

I just got back from disneyland and was able to convince the wife to let me get annual passes for our anniversary. I was noticing other people with annual passes where taking pictures and the photographer was scanning their annual pass. How does this work, can you log into your account and order pictures from there? Is there any benefit to doing it this way? Thanks, james

I have not heard of the Photopass being connected to the Annual Pass. I do know that when you take your photo for your Annual pass they will take a face photo of you then scan your AP so your photo will show up at the gates (although the photo takes time to show up).

I have had an AP for 10 years now and had no clue. Maybe it is because the last few times we have gone we have purchased the Disney PhotoPass+

Yes, it can be another photopass card. We always get a photopass plus, but use the annual pass when the other person has the plus card.
