Annual Pass Parking

Just got my voucher for my first annual pass. What is the procedure for using the annual pass to use to park free on any given day? I've noticed other guests (which I assume are annual pass holders) when entering the parks use the finger print for id purposes. Is this used for parking also? If so how would I avoid this to redeem the voucher?

They don't use the finger scanner (not finger print btw) for parking. Just show them your voucher or pass.

When I went into to park at epcot to renew mine, event with the vouchers they charged me to park but would pay me back at guest relations.
