annual pass, paper?

bought an annual pass. the paper ticket is supposed to last 1 year? it barely made it one day with the rain storm.

Must have been one heck of a rainstorm. Ours have lasted through hurricanes.

Just go to the ticket counter at any park and they will reissue a new one with no problem.

I'm glad to hear that we aren't the only ones who've had trouble with these stupid paper things!!

We made it through our whole December trip without any hassles - of course - we were there on the only 7 days without any rain - the last drops were coming down as we entered the parking garage to pick up our rental - never saw another the rest of the week! The previous two MVMCP's had been rained out!!

We went back in June for a school trip - my 2 DD's and 4 other Jr. High students. They had plastic park hoppers, but we had our same AP's. I usually kept them all in my Passporter Pouch - which has a clear plastic sleeve to protect them. My girls wanted to hold their own passes - so I said okay. DD2 put hers in her pocket of her shorts - zippered in. She ended up in the wet seat on Kali - end result - soggy shredded pass! We did our best to dry it out before going back to the parks that evening - no go - they took the remains, and issued a replacement pass.

As I fueled up the rental car on my way to the airport, my pouch fell straight into a huge puddle (Incredible thunderstorm - I love FL storms!). Even through the plastic window - the passes were soaked. Luckily - they dried pretty flat, as we didn't need to use them again - I'm waiting to see if they go through when we go back in November!!

Why can't they make these plastic???

Here's some info for those among us who like plastic tickets better than paper ones: you can bring them to Guest Relations at any of the parks, and they can give you plastic instead. My parents did this in March without any problems.

If this is true it's like that old debate about colorizing old black & white movies for television. You can always turn the color off.

In other words, you can have it your way!
