Family and I are going to the world in November for 8 days. Should we get annual passes or length of stay passes? I know there are perks to the annual pass I'm just not sure what they are or how good? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

That really isn't as simple of question as you might think.

The regular Annual Pass costs a little less than the 8 day UPH (Length of Stay) pass. But it doesn't include entry to the water parks or Disney Quest. So one of the first things to ask yourself is "Are we going to visit the Water Parks and if so how often?" If you are primarily going to be spending your time in the major parks - then you should probably go with the Annual Passes.

Next -- one of the biggest benefits of the Annual Pass is the room discounts you can obtain. Check this site

http://www.mousesavers.com

for information on Annual Pass discounts and other discounts on your room. Sometimes the savings you can get on the hotel room will make it worthwhile to buy the Annual Pass for at least one adult in your family. You do not need the Annual Pass to make the reservation, you just have to buy a voucher before you check-in.

Read through the codes carefully and then call disney to see what is available during your stay.

Deb Wills site has a good section on ticket options

Get the annual pass.

You are going in November, it will be a short, cold swim at any water park. You also have the resort/hotel pools if there is a warm day.

The AP allows you to come back within the year for more Disney.

I go to DW 3 times in 1 calendar year. Then I take a year or so off.

Are you planning on visiting Disney Quest? That is not included in the AP, only with the PAP or length of stay passes. I have 2 teens who spend time at DQ so it is nice to have that included on your passes. We always go in November, and have visited the waterparks, the weather has always been warm enough.

we always buy annual passes(except this yr, when we did sea world/universal studios/IOA.
We find that it saves us a lot of money... plus allows us to go to Dis a 2nd, or GASP!! even
a third time in a given yr. Since we have a timeshare, we don't make use of the hotel
discounts, but its really nice to have the luxury of coming and going whenever and however
often we want during each two wk stay. If we were only going for a week, we might
reconsider.
Whatever u buy, HAVE A BALL!!!!
