Annual Pass - MVMCP - DDE questions

Hi All,
I just rec'd my Annual park hopper exchange certificates in the mail. Since they won't be validated until we arrive on 11/25, how can I purchase the MVMCP tickets and DDE card? I want to make sure we get our discounts wherever possible!!

Only 16 days 'til we leave and I just can't stand it!!!!! I can't work, my house is a mess and my concentration is shot! Hubby thinks I'm losing it and even my 4 yo daughter says I'm silly. I've got the suit cases out and ready to pack, only because next week is going to be extremely busy for my small business. AND, all I think about is DISNEY!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you're really getting in the Disney mode!

Anyway, if you haven't already called for the DDE card, call ASAP! As far as the MVMCP tickets, when I called I just asked for the passholder dates and ordered the tickets accordingly. I wasn't asked for my AP #, but I had it handy just in case. I may have to pick these up at Will Call window, but I'm not sure. I think I remember something about having to show proof for the discount.

Oh darn. I just called to apply for the DDE and they closed at 5pm. Can't seem to get online, guess you have to have a validated pass?

Sweet maxine, you mentioned passholder dates for the MVMCP? Are there some days that the discount is not available?

You do have to use your annual pass # to get into the annual pass website. You can not buy the DDE online. The only thing you can do on the website is download and print a copy of the application, then you either mail or fax it to their office. It would be best to call them 8-4(central time).
There are dates when annual pass rates are available for MVMCP. I do not remember what they are. If you call the ticket phone number they should be able to tell you. I do not know if they would sell them to you at this price before you validate your pass voucher. You may need to wait until you are at WDW to buy your MVMCP tickets with the discount.

When we went in June, we had ordered our APs, but had to wait until we actually got there to order our DDE card. We got there, went to Epcot to get the APs, called on the cell phone in the car to order the DDE card and then had to go back to Epcot to pick it up after 5 that night. What a pain!

You will have to do this as well unfortunately, as you don't have enough time to get it in the mail.

Does your voucher have your AP number on it? If not, then call and you can get it from ticket services I think. Then you can order your MVMCP tickets online and have them waiting at will call. I would worry about waiting until you get there for those.

Okay, I didn't have any trouble getting the AP rate for the MVMCP on 11/29. He just said when we go to pick up the tickets, they'll ask to show proof that we have AP's. That's one item checked off my list!!

I'm going to call the DDE # first thing in the morning. But, I think your right MemoryMakers....to apply for the DDE...I would have to have a validated pass. That does sound like a pain and I don't want to have to wait for it once we get there. I'll post tomorrow when I find out for sure.

OH, and I did read where my AP exchange certificate would allow me to log in on the passholder site disneyworld(dot)com/passholders. It appears that I have all the numbers needed, but was still unable to log in. I've emailed disney for help with that.

I got my DDE before I exchanged my voucher for my AP, and I got it for $50. I called, oh, maybe 3 weeks or so prior to my trip, and I actually received the DDE card itself maybe a week before we left - I was fully planning on having to get the temporary DDE at Epcot, but I lucked out! I wasn't able to log-in to the passholders site at WDW official site with the voucher, but then again, I still have problems with that.

If you have your AP number, on the voucher, then you should be able to order your DDE card over the phone and just have it there waiting when you get there. You will still most likely have to go to Epcot to pick it up..but you have to do your pass anyway. Oh and a tip! If you have a car, then when you get to the parking lot, tell the guys there that you are just picking up your pass and they will let you go park up front!

Yea!! I got my DDE cards ordered. But, they said it probably wouldn't make it here in time and I would have to pick up temp. cards in Epcot. Maybe we'll luck out like SolitaryPhoenix and get ours in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the tip MemoryMakers. That would help out if we could save a little time going over to Epcot that day.
