Annual Pass Memory Maker

Hello. Thinking about taking my 5-day PH (purchased via a reputable outside vendor) over to Guest Services next month at the start of my trip, and trading up to an Annual Pass.

So, from what I gather, Memory Maker is included. So, I've never paid much attention to this but now I have to start doing my homework

So, if I have 4 people in my room, they don't have to be WITH me to have a photo taken somewhere, right? Isn't it somehow linked to their Magic Band?

So, again, what if I have family in another room, on a separate reservation. Is it possible for them to be linked up to my Memory Maker? If so, how does that work?

They will be able to view the photos but with the "photopass" watermark on them. You technically "own" the memory maker, but there is no limit to downloads and sending the pictures to your friends.

You can link everyone via friends and family, whether staying in your room in another room, or offsite, and you will be able to download all of their photos.

Yes, this is one of the reasons I'm upgrading to an AP this year. With a 10 day trip this summer, and another next summer, just a couple of weeks earlier, the free parking alone nearly covers the cost of the upgrade from a 10 day ticket to the AP.

I was actually trying to download my pics from last years trip. They are all available on the app, but not via the website on the computer. Anyone know the trick? Id rather download them to my computer.

Ok, quick question....so if I am upgrading to annual pass on the day we get to WDW, I do NOT need to pre-purchase memory maker? It will automatically be there as soon as I do the upgrade?

It will automatically be there once you upgrade to an AP. I just did this about 2 weeks ago. Pictures immediately appeared from my sister's trip 8 months ago because I had linked her in MDE. Pictures we had taken in the park also immediately appeared.

I always save the photos to my phone from the app and then upload from my phone to the computer. My husband will upload from the website but I think it’s a huge pain. I can ask him how he does it. But I think my way is easier by far.
