Annual Pass magic bands, is the true?

I've never received a slider and m on my third year of annual,passes. I even checked my old boxes cause I still have them. Nothing.

How do you get them?

It was underneath, buried in the box. But when I took out the part the band was on, there is was.

I did receive a 2013 one from pop century once. The front desk gentleman gave me two. So do you think the front desk has them all the time?

If these are bands received for resort stays, they wouldn't be in those boxes. It would be the boxes where you got your AP bands and under the insert would be your discount card and dated sliders. The newer boxes the cardboard tube that comes out can be opened and it's inside the "tube".

I think that like most policies at Disney it depends on which CM is working. lol

There has never been a time that we were waved past when going thru the parking booths. I will have my MB on and my ID and pass at the ready. Some scan it, some look at the pass and don't even glance at my ID and some study the ID and the pass like they are uncovering the lost secrets of Atlantis.

Likewise the discount. I have the old gold discount card, the blue 2014 slider (which I lost somewhere) and my new gold passport.
Some CM's need to see the pass, some like to see the discount card and they all want to see my ID to go with it. I have never even attempted to show them MDE or have them scan my MB because each and every store/kiosk I go to wants either the discount card or the pass and ID.

As for the MB arrival. Our latest MB's came in an Incredibles box (as usual) they were personalized with our names but there were no sliders or discount cards in the bottom.

We have just park hopped for 13 days. I think that my band was scanned about four times. I was waved through all the rest of the time.
