Morning Everyone,

I am traveling to Disney World in October of this year and will be looking to get a 4 day parkhopper and water park and more. I will be moving next spring sometime to 5 hours away and fully intend to make some long weekends. Would it be worth just buying an annual pass? Or should I consider buying a no expiration park pass ?

In general, if you think you'll be spending more than 10 days in the park (total), then the AP becomes the better value. The interesting rub in your case is that you're looking at the waterpark addon as well, which implies a Premium Annual Pass rather than just the standard. So, you'll need to consider how many days you expect to spend in the four parks, as well as how many days at any of the water parks, and do the math that way.

...............or you can do it like we do and get a traditional AP and spend the 110 extra bucks for a WP AP. We did not need Disney Quest or any golfing. We always stagger the dates by a few days so we can have the last trip of the year be a little longer.

BTW......you can upgrade your original ticket to an AP and simply pay the difference. That for us was an appealing option during our first visit in which we decided to get an AP.

Yeah...........about 10 days or the third trip of the year makes it worthwhile.

If you stay off site in order to visit more often, the free parking helps to rack up the savings as well. Just 5 days of parking itself is a nice chunk of change!

Another point............Those convenient long weekends will add up and you will enjoy the 12 months of touring at your leisure and not being focused on "doing it all" in only 3 trips a year.

4, 5, 6 trips in a year is a really cool thing to do. Even if it is only a one time AP purchase.

You say you will be moving 5 hours away...will you become a Florida resident at that point? The Florida Resident AP is cheaper, so you may want to do the math with that in mind.
