Annual Pass - how firm are the dates

We r going to Disney mid October, my daughter is planning on going the end of October into early November next year and we r planning on returning with her and my granddaughters. I was thinking of getting a annual pass for this year but am not sure if the passes will cover the dates for next year if we are past expiration by about 2 weeks or so? I don’t think so but thought I would ask.

No- they expire completely on the date shown in your MDE.
