Annual Pass Holders Question?

DO YOU GET ANY DISCOUNTS IN JUNE, IF YOU ARE A ANNUAL PASS HOLDER? I'VE BEEN CALLING DISNEY ALMOST EVERYDAY NOW, THE LAST CAST MEMBER I TALKED TO SAID THEY MIGHT NOT COME OUT WITH ANY DEALS BECAUSE THEY'RE BUSIER IN THE SUMMER MONTHS?

Summer varies. Sometimes they only do them for specific resorts, like the year they did only the Epcot resorts. With summer being a busy time, there's usually no need of discounts to get the rooms filled. If there are going to be any type of discount, I would expect it to appear in early to mid-May. The fall discounts usually appear in July.

AP discounts are on an 'as available' basis. That is to say, if they have rooms that will sit empty -- they may choose to discount them.

You may find these discounts available for June but only for certain resorts and only on certain weeks. These can be limited.

The nature of ANY discounts is that it's being offered to fill empty rooms. If the rooms are filling at full price, no business in the world is going to discount them.

Also, AP rates generally only come out a few months ahead of time.

If Disney can sell something at full price they will not put a discount on it. (LOL) There rarely are discounts between mid March and mid april, summer through the first week of August, and Christmas.

Keep checking though, because you never can predict what Disney will do. Be ready to grab a deluxe resort; Mods and Values are already pretty full.

We're going June 1st through the 9th on an AP discount staying BWI CL. I think it was around $100 per night off.

As long as you begin your stay by June 2nd and find a resort with rooms that are still available at AP rates (BW still had rooms at AP rates available as of yesterday) then it doesn't matter when you check out. I used to think when they said they had AP rates available thru a certain date, that you had to complete your stay by then. What it really means is that you have to BEGIN your stay by June 2nd!
