Annual Pass Gift

Hello

Can anyone tell me when you get the annual pass gift? We are looking to travel over to disney from the uk in october to book the wedding and was thining if we got our passes then we would not have to worry about buying them. We are looking at a date at the start of october so it will be under a year when we are out there

I believe most people have said that they recieved them with the signed/completed copy of thier contract in the mail.

I got mine after i received my copy of the signed contract back. So around about 7 months before the wedding.

we were hoping to be able to book and sign contracts and use the annual passes while out in florida

Depending on your locations you wont be able to definately book anything until 1 year out and some are not guaranteed until 8 months out. The contract was sent to me just before this date and needed to be back at my 8 month point along with the deposit. They then got it signed their end and set it back to me with the passes.

we are looking at oct 2nd 2008 and wont be out there till around this time and we would love the wp and we are not sure on reception locations yet

It would definitely be nice to have them in time for your trip! As other posters have said, you probably will need to discuss this with the Wedding Consultant when it gets closer to the time. For your date, they will be able to start booking on Oct 2, 2007 if you are having the reception at: Ariel's, Atlantic Dance Hall, or inside a theme park. All other locations, they will not be able to book or draw up a contract until Feb 2, 2008. Once the contract is written up, signed, deposit turned, and signed by the appropriate DFTW people is generally when most people have said they received their AP's.

Do you get these passes just with a custom wedding?

To my knowledge, there is nothing from DFTW that says that you will get AP's. It just seems that it's been habit that most of the time for couples booking a custom wedding, there are two AP vouchers tucked in with the signed contracts.

Also, don't forget that if you're planning to go over in October that you also have the chance to attend a planning meeting around 4-6 months before your wedding date - if you were to go at this time then you'd most likely have those passes then
