Hi!

I think the answer to this might be straightforward, but I'll ask anyway.

Can I use the annual passes given to us by DFTW to make reservations now...even if they are not going to be usable in the parks until November? ...since that is when we are heading to Florida!

Thanks!

Yes you can!!! You just need to have the voucher number handy...

Do we get hotel discounts with the APs? If so, how much is the discount? Just wondering if it would be better to get rooms through that than using the wedding discount.

there are occasional passholder discounts from time to time. you will have to check the passholder website and the your dftw website price out the dates and see which comes out better...Im not sure how great the passholder discount will be when you are booking

Annual Pass discounts are also posted on www.mousesavers.com when they come out—usually only a few months before the travel dates. For example, right now, Disney has only released AP rates through Oct. 2.

Also, we didn't need an AP number to book the rate, and sometimes you can even check in with only the voucher, not the activated pass. But if you're worried, you can activate it at Guest Services at the parks/Downtown Disney before you get to the hotel.

This is a little off topic but does anyone know if the AP's work at the water parks as well or do we need to upgrade them for the water parks?

Unfortunately they do not include the water parks, and they cannot be upgraded to Premium APs that include the water parks. We had to bite the bullet and buy separate water park tickets when we went.
