Annual Pass for gift??? Is that allowed?

I am going back to the land of potter in July! I am trying to keep costs down and thought that I might ask for an annual pass as a Christmas present. has anyone ever bought the pass for a gift. How does that work? Does it work? If I get one for xmas can I then use it to book my room at RPR for a cheaper rate?

You can book the AP rate at anytime, even prior to purchasing the AP. You just need to show it at checkin to keep the rate.

My mom gifted mine a couple of years ago, they shipped the AP to the house as the actual ticket then I brought it up to the park without a problem. I don't know if things have changed, but there should be a way to do it.
