annual pass expiration date question

During our 2007 trip, we got hoppers and then upgraded during our trip. The first day we used the hopper tickets was May 10, Thurs. We upgraded on Saturday, 12th.

Looking at my deluxe annual pass, it says "Valid thru: 05/10/08." My understanding is that I can use it on May 10 this year [with blockout fee paid] to get into the parks.

Am I correct? All along I was thinking May 9th would be my last day.

I do believe that you can use it on the date mentioned on the AP. Bummer it has a blockout, though! I take it you're not renewing?

Yes, if it says valid thru 5/22/08, you can use your AP on that day. Just like Bumbershoot said!!

Thanks! I really need that hug now. We were looking, researching, and debating last night for one last trip with our annual pass [last day of our trip being our expiration date]. We went in May and again in December in 2007--boy, were they fun. I really wanted one more trip but it wasn't meant to be. sigh.

On a brighter note, there may be a trip in the works for WDW in 2010! Sooooo long to wait for...but my heart belongs to Disneyland.

WDW!!!! Wow! Never been there.....I'd like to but with kids and dogs that need to be boarded it's quite pricey. I'm hoping for WDW and a cruise in 2010 myself. In the meantime I'm hoping I can keep my AP and use it a lot! lol

It is possible that this May trip will be our last on our APs, and we have gotten sooooo much out of the APs, much more than anticipated, but still it makes me heartsick to think of the APs expiring. We want to go to WDW relatively soon after the APs expire, so there would still be Disney, but I would really prefer to keep the APs as well as do the WDW trip.

Money? What is that? Oh, is it that stuff that keeps flying out of our windows?

We won't be renewing our AP's either.

We got 3 uses out of them, and they way more then paid for themselves. They'll expire a week after we get back from our June trip. I don't see us going back until June 2009, at which point I think I'll just buy hoppers and get a MM day out of them. Maybe on the '09 trip we'll consider upgrading the hoppers to AP's again if we can go back before a year again. It's a bummer though, I loved having the AP's.

We have used ours at least 8 times since last July! LOL But we are 6 hours away, for us it's close enough to drive down on Friday night and leave on Sunday afternoon.

Molly, we board the kids with their older sister.....LOL But she usually takes them for free.
