Annual Pass DVC renewal voucher

In the past I think that I was able to buy renewal vouchers with the DVC discount. Now when I go to the member website I can't figure out how to navigate to a place that will allow me to purchase a renewal voucher now to use when I go in December. I can get to where I can buy a new AP voucher. What am I doing wrong? Or am I remembering incorrectly and there is no such thing as a renewal voucher with DVC discount?

There's a link to purchase a new DVC Annual Pass on the DVC Member Site. However, the link to renew it is on the passholder web site, not the Member site.

Go to the Disney World main page at disneyworld.com

At the top of the page, click on the passholder link.

Sign in with your pass number, then click on the renew link.

The system will recognize that you have a DVC Annual Pass and offer you the correct renewal rate.

We find that it is sometimes a better deal to buy new depending on our travel cycle.

You can also renew your AP with the DVC discount at any of the Guest Services windows at the parks. We have found that this is easier than pre-purchasing a voucher, since we have to go to Guest Services to pick up the passes anyway.

But I do not want to renew now because it is not within the 30 day window. I only want to buy a renewal voucher. My pass expires Dec. 2 and my trip begins on Dec. 1. I want to buy a couple of renewal vouchers before any price increase.

You can call them at 407-560-PASS (7277). They'll sell you the voucher and send it to you even if you're more than 30 days from your expiration.

FWIW, this did not work for me - it didn't recognize that the passes were DVC and only offered the full renewal price. No clue why.

I called the number in post #6 and got my renewal vouchers with DVC discount.
