annual pass discounts in Sept??

Do you know when codes for annual pass reosrt discounts are released for Sept? How fast do the annual pass rooms book then?

If you stayed last Sept. with an annual pass, would you mind sharing which resort you stayed at and how much it was per night? I'm trying to get a feel for what it might cost this year with an AP.

AP rates for September are not usually released until mid-summer.

I have seen AP rates at the Values around $49-$59, and at the moderates for around $89-$99.

If I had to guess, I would say that AP rates this year will probably be in the upper range ($59-$69 for Values, $99-$109 for Moderates). But of course, I could be way off.

Last year, discounts were released on 6/1/2005...

WDW Annual Passholders can get special discounted rates at select Walt Disney World resorts for check-ins 8/28/05-10/4/05. The code gives you a flat discount off the rack rates: $18 off Value resorts, $45 off Moderate resorts and $70 off Deluxe and Home-Away-From-Home resorts. Some sample rates:

* Value Resorts (All Stars and Pop Century) - $59 standard
* Moderate Resorts - $89 standard, $104 preferred view/King
* Animal Kingdom Lodge - $129 standard, $210 savannah view
* Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club - $224 standard
* Polynesian - $234 garden view

I remembered there were discounts for last September, but with the free dining package most folks didn't use the AP discount. We had one at Pop, and changed it to a package to get the free dinning. We had to buy one day tickets and pay rack rate ($77) a night, so was a great deal. It only cost us a little over $300 more than what we would've paid with the AP discount and we got 9 days of free dining for 4 people.
