Annual Pass discount

Our passes expire on Nov 10. However we will not be able to renew them until Dec 8, when we will be at Disney. Do we still get the renewal discount rate?

An annual pass renual now starts on the day after your passes expire. If you wait a month, you'll have to pay full price for your passes. If you think you'll use your passes between November 11 and Dec 7 2005, then you'll want to wait. Otherwise, I think it's worth renewing now and getting the discount

They will usually give you the renewal discount if you renew within 30 days (anniversary date is still the original date). You also can buy renewal vouchers now and have them mailed to you.

I didn't realize there was a discount for renewing? What is the renewal rate?

If they were to give you the renewal rate in Dec when you go, the date on the passes would be based on your original date.

AP $361 vs $403 new.

PAP $478 vs $531 new.

About 10% off. Renewal date is one year from the original one. If your AP expires 11/10/04, the renewal will expire 11/10/05, regardless of when you first use the renewal.
