DVC members, did you know that you can get a $20 discount off the DAP and PAP? I don't think I had seen this posted anywhere, but I was just looking at the Portable Perks that we got in January and it says that DVC members and their immediate family (residing in the same household) are eligible for the $20 discount off a new purchase, not a renewal.

So, when I purchase mine next month, I am hoping I can get the $20 discount as well as trading in my GAD, and that ought to make the expense a little easier to swallow.

This may be posted somewhere, but I had not found it in my meanderings thru this Board, and I hope it helps someone else out a bit. :goodvibes

Yes I knew, but others might not.

So I saw another post of yours, and I was thinking...just so there are no issues when getting your AP, I wonder if you have thought about taking the voucher to the ticket booth and just upgrading to normal tickets from it.

Then when you get time to change to an AP, then go to the AP processing center (you'll have to do that anyway, you aren't making yourself more work with this) and upgrade the ticket to the DVC AP.

That way you don't get some brand new ticket CM thinking you can't use the DVC AP cost, etc. And you have to go to the processing center anyway, to get your pictures taken etc...

That's our plan for Nov for the two of us.

is the AP processing center located somewhere different than the regular ticket booths?
