Hello,

I am heading down to SSR in November for 8 nights  . I plan on using our DVC discount to get Annual Passes for Me, DW and DS , since our next trip will be within a years time.

We are taking my Father along. Am I able to by him an Annual Pass using the DVC discount? Since there is a good chance he will come with us the next time we go, I think it would be worth the few extra bucks. Other wise I will get him a 6 or 7 Day MYW Pass with Hopping and No Exp

Thanks,
Peter

If your father lives with you (and has photo ID that proves it), you can get him an annual pass with the DVC discount. Otherwise, he doesn't qualify for the discount.

Best wishes -

You can get the DVC discount for you father if he lives with you, since he meets their description of immediate family. They will require ID showing that you all live at the same address. HTH

As others have noted, you won't be able to get the discount for your Dad unless he lives at your address.

As for the other options, I expect you might be better off just getting him the 10 day MYW park-hopping tix with no expiration for ~$350 w/advance purchase (compared to $421 for the AP). If he's going to join you in the parks for most of the time, it may be better to get the MYW tix that expire tho, since it may not be worth it to pay the big add-on fee for no-exp for just a couple of extra days. The 7 day MYW w/P-H with exp will run you less than $250 adv purchase. Remember, the no-exp option is $100 pre-tax, so Disney clearly wants us to think before we buy one.

Good luck!
