If I were to buy APs online would I immediately get a pass # that I could turn around and use to purchase Trick or Treat tickets at the AP rate or do you have to actually activate the APs in park to be able to use for the discount?

We haven't bought APs yet because we were hoping a new Costco offer or something might come out between now and our trip the middle of Oct.

We haven't bought the Trick or Treat passes because we were holding off to see if we would be able to take advantage of the AP discount.

Should we hold out or go ahead and buy APs, should we get Hoppers and convert them when we are there, buy the Trick or Treat passes at regular price???

What would the best option be, I guess its really only a few dollar difference either way...

I don't know about buying APs on-line, but if you are planning to attend the Trick or Treat party on a Friday, there is no AP discount. Since Fridays do tend to sell out, I wouldn't wait too long. I don't think the Thursdays sell out, so you could wait a little while to take advantage of the AP discount.

Have a magical trip!

What day are you thinking of? I can check the availability for you. I think if you called and ordered your ToT tickets over the phone you would be ok but online it's a little harder.

The AP voucher you have emailed to you has a number on it, but it doesn't correspond to the number on the AP card I ultimately got at the park. I do not know if that number would give you the "in" to buying the tickets.

But if there's no discount on the day you want, then there's no point. :)

We are thinking about either the 15th or 16th. Probably opting for the 15th which would give he late night at CA on Thurs and late nights at DL on Fri and Sat if we have the energy.

We are staying within walking distance so having late night all 3 nights would be nice if our boys need to go back to the hotel for naps in the afternoons. We are from out of state so we are trying to maximize our time there, but have toddlers so you all know how that goes...
