Annual Pass Dining Discount Question

How does one go about using an AP for the various dining discounts? Do you inform the waiter before you order? Do you have to inform CRO when making your PS's?

It depends on the restaurant. If it is for a dinner show, like the luau or HDD you'll let them know when you make your ressie. For other full service restaurants, I let the server know when we order. They'll usually want to see your pass just prior to ringing up the bill, or when they present you with the bill.

We always tell them when we first get there, but have found that the discount is subsequently forgotten about half the time. We always nicely pull out our APs, and the bill has always been redone graciously.

I usually tell the server when placing the order and then leave the AP on the corner of the table as a reminder.
