Hello,

I recently planned a DW trip for this fall (November), for which I will be purchasing Disney Gold Passes for $559 with DVC discount. I already have the funds on a disney gift card, so my dilemma is should i pull the trigger now or wait until closer to my trip. I guess this comes down to is Disney more likely to have a better promotion before then or a price increase?

Thoughts?

You won't get a better promotion than the dvc discount. I'd buy now and avoid any possible price hikes.

Not sure what this is?
I think the assumption is that you already have purchased a multi-day ticket. Bridging is where Disney credits you the "gate price" of a multi day ticket you purchased from a wholesaler like Undercover Tourist etc. at a below gate price, thus they "bridge" the price difference in your favor when "trading in " your multi day for the AP.

One thing to look into; I'm not sure when the latest you could purchase and get the 13 month AP that was offered this year. I think I heard Sep. 30th? Although I also know that date is when the "special" AP dining discounts and other one time offerings end as well, so I may be confusing the date.

The 13 month AP is no longer offered for new AP's only for renewals until 9/30/17.

OP - It is unlikely there will be any new promotions but there is always a chance that a special comes along. 2 years ago Disney raised AP prices in Oct and ticket prices in Feb but this past year they raised both in Feb. Barring a price increase your only other deadline would be to purchase the AP more than 60 days out(for onsite stay) so you can make FP+ reservations.
