Has anyone noticed that the number of blockout dates for the Deluxe, Southern California and Southern California Select passes have DRASTICALLY decreased for 2015? This is the third year my husband and I have had passes, and we've always been OK with having the SoCal pass because we still can get into the parks on Sundays. The calendar appears to be similar to what it has been in the past up through March 2015, but starting in April and through the rest of the year, things change.

Deluxe Pass - ALL Saturdays and Sundays are blocked out starting in April. Things get a little bit better in August and appear to be back to normal come September.
SoCal Pass - ALL Sundays are blocked out starting in April and extending through the end of 2015! Saturdays are blocked out, too, but that was always normal.
SoCal Select Pass - MONDAYS are blocked out starting in April and extending through the end of 2015! Saturdays and Sundays are blocked out, too, but again, that was always normal.

I'm *hoping* this was just an error on Disney's end loading the calendar into the website. Online, the SoCal pass (the one we have) still states that the pass entitles you to admission on 215 days throughout the year. Looking at the current January 2015 - December 2015 calendar, there are only 193 days that aren't blocked out.

Has anyone else noticed this or contacted Disney about it and gotten an answer? That will be my next step if no one else has heard anything. I'll be really upset and disappointed if it isn't an error :worried:

Its most likely an error.

A few months ago, Disneyland.com showed Deluxe passes with no blockout dates in July 2015 and SoCal passes were valid every day but Saturdays in July. It was like this for at least a week or two before it was corrected.

I'd check back in a week or two.

Following this - our APs expire may 10 and we have booked a trip from May 3 to 11 knowing one date sat may 9 was blocked - now the calendar shows three of our dates are now blocked rather than just one
our hotel and airfare is all paid for - feeling horrible thinking now we will need to buy one or two day park tix to at least cover the plans we have for this trip :confused3

Likely blocked after as Tinker Bell is that weekend....8,9,10

when I booked the trip - registration for Tink had started and there was only one blocked day on the AP calander showing
I will be calling disney to find out more

This is most likely a temporary error. We have the deluxe passes and the calendar has drastically changed from when i last looked. The website states that with this pass you get admission for 315 days, but as i count all the new blockout days it only adds up to 295 days. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I, too, am hoping it is just an error, and that is what it seems to be based on the number of days the DL website says each level of pass should be valid. Hopefully they'll revise the calendar soon!

I sure hope it is an error also and not a change to their schedule. My daughter and I are getting Deluxe APs in 2 days when we go for our trip (yea!!!!!) and are planning on going back with the fam in May. If I have to get day passes for the weekend, I think we will just end up going to Knott's or something. Just not in the budget!!

i think its been fixed -- may dates are back to what they were!
i took screenshots from chrome and IE -- just glad the dates are back to what they were.....whew!

Looks like everything is back to normal. I'm booked for May as well, and I suddenly got a little worried. But all things have returned to normal. Good thing. I would've hated to buy an AP for the first time and then have all those dates disappear. Consequences and repercussions!:)

Thank goodness! I did notice for Deluxe APs we are now blocked Friday July 17th (the day of the 60th anniversary). In exchange, we are now unblocked Thanksgiving day. It makes me wonder if they have something planned for the anniversary or if they are just anticipating larger than normal crowds.

I'm still seeing all Sundays after March blacked out for So Cal annual pass members. This is a big change from last year.

Select is fixed today (Mondays aren't blocked anymore.) I'm guessing regular SoCal is up next since the calendar still shows Sundays blocked.

I saw that too a few days ago. I was trying to figure out when the festivities would begin. That might be a pretty decent clue. :thumbsup2

Disney said the website has errors for Sunday's on SoCal pass and they are working on fixing it.
