Annual Pass Benefits-Magical Gatherings-7 people?

I thought I read on this board that if you have an AP and your trip includes 7 people, not just 8, you can have the benefits that 8 people can get with magical gatherings. I tried searching this but couldn't find it. Anybody know? thanks!!

It's from the February Mickey Monitor and from a Passholder email Disney sent out:

Now through April 30th, you and at least 7 of your friends and family members can enjoy the new Grand Gatherings experiences listed below without the Disney Resort stay we require for everyone else (although the Disney Resorts are quite nice).
etc etc

I read that to mean that you need 8 or more people just like the regular Grand Gatherings requirement. The advantage that AP holders have is that have waived the "must stay onsite" rule for this through April 30th.

So you think it was just a typo that they stated 7 people?

You and at least 7 of your friends would equal 8. That is the way I read it. As always, I could be wrong.
