I know I've read this before, but can you purchase Annual passes at the International Gateway at Epcot?

You can buy (or exchange vouchers) at any park (including water parks) ticket window or Guest Relations office, as well as either if the GR offices in DTD. You cannot do it at any of the Resorts.

It's strange that you can't redeem exchange vouchers at the TTC. What's the purpose of it anymore I wonder?

I would say you could exchange your voucher here or buy tickets. Who say you can't?

It is not as popular with people staying onsite - because it is an extra trip on the monrail. (okay exception to the monrail hotels)

The TTC is considered a Park location, there are no ticket booths at MK physically.

In the past I've purchased AP's at the Disney store at MCO, killed time while waiting for the luggage to get off the plane. But does anyone know if you can activate vouchers there also???
Thanks

You can purchase tickets at the windows at the right of the main gate at the MK.

Not only can you you not exchange vouchers there (and never could), you can no longer purchase activated AP's there either. They will now sell you an AP voucher that must be exchanged at WDW for the actual AP. Think of them as a glorified Disney Store even though they are run by the WDW Parks division, not The Children's Place.

I'm hoping someone can help me out with a question about this in a round about way...

We head down to WDW in a week - we're staying the BC and we plan to purchase AP for our family since we'll be going back down several times over the course of the next year. Is there any benefit (we already have FP+ linked to some very OLD non-expiration tickets) to purchasing the AP ahead of time or can we just purchase them when we arrive next Monday at the International Gateway since we're spending that day just hanging at SAB?

Also, my youngest has a brand new five-day ticket we purchased him a few months ago to get his FP+ but since we haven't actually activated it we were hoping to "upgrade" it to an annual pass by paying the difference. My understanding based on my research is this is possible as long as the ticket hasn't been used. Will there be a problem with the FP+ we have for him that are associated with that ticket once we do the upgrade, if that's possible?

You should probably start your own thread instead of replying to one that’s 11 years old.

Yes, you can upgrade the one ticket and it shouldn’t have any effect on FP+.

When you purchase an AP at the hat, it will be activated immediately. Your year begins then even if you don’t enter the park. So, if you’ll use the AP at the end of the year, you’ll need to be aware of the expiration date.

Or better yet, read the Ticket sticky since it answers all their questions

I was trying to find the answer in an thread via the search and this was the first thread that popped up. Thanks for your help!
