Hello all! :wave2:

Just a quick question for you all. We have Dream annual passes, and went to DLP just before Christmas but completely forgot about the free apperitif we can apparently get before our meal in some table service (?) restaurants....

We're going again in March and I was wondering....

1. How do you get the free drink? Do you tell them you have an annual pass? Leave it casually on the table when you first sit down? Wave it around and dance with it? lol :rotfl:

2. Who has had free aperitifs and in which restaurants?

Many thanks all!

its available at table service restaurants where you can use your AP for discount on your meal.

Its fruit juice, as far as I'm led to believe, and you ask for it (showing your AP) from your waiter when he brings your menus/takes your food/drinks order.

It is orange juice and you have to ask for it, they don't bring it to you just because they see your annual pass.

You can also get it from the rainforest cafe too.

We've benefited from this in the past - once upon a time it was a choice of kir (for the adults!), orange juice or apple juice but nowadays I believe orange juice is the only option.

Like DLPdaft says we used to show our APs and request it when our drinks order was taken.

Brilliant, thank you all. So ANY Disney table service restaurant, and Rainforest Cafe in the Village, and specificially ask...... What about Beaver Creek? Seeing as it's half buffet and half table service?? And I'm assuming Buffalo Bills is not included?

It's not always orange juice or at least is wasn't in 2013. We got the alcohol free cocktails in Café Mickey (and got to chose between the two they had to).

I think they chanted it as both
In September and last week everywhere gave us orange juice.

Beaver Creek is classed as table service as well as all the buffets, it cant be used in Buffalo Bills

We received the drink (orange juice with a red fruit purée at the bottom of the glass) at Walts (last week) (at Halloween) and Blue Lagoon and found that it was served in different ways. In Blue Lagoon it was served in a glass stood in a bowl filled with dry ice that smoked for quite a while. In Walts it was served in a cocktail glass with a red sugar rim around the top.

Sounds good! Will definitely make a point of asking for them in March. Does everyone at the table get one? Or is only one per annual pass? Basically, myself, DH and DD with have passes, but my MIL and FIL will just have day passes but will be with us for all meals....

One per annual pass, my daughter didn't get one as she's under 3 so had no pass.
