Annual Pass AP Code for resort ???

I don't have an annual pass right now. I am signed up for email alerts from Disney.

If I purchase an annual pass, am I more likely to receive a good code for my November trip than if I haven't purchased it yet???

I really only want to purchase if it helps with the Poly ressie I have already made.

Annual Passholders get special offers at various times of the year for various amounts of discounts.

I wouldn't buy a pass hoping for such a discount. Keep your eyes on the boards and you may very well SEE when such a discount is released to AP holders that might apply to your dates.

If you think it might.. you can even call and try to book that discounted room during your dates.. and if you can -- THEN I'd buy the pass.

But that's just how I'd do it.

On the other hand.. if you buy the pass and it's no use to you.. Can you send it to me please? (ha ha -- kidding of course)

You don't need an AP in hand to book a room with an AP discount-you just need to have it to check in.

If you buy an AP voucher you can use that to access the passholder section of the Disney web site and check room availability.

The Polynesian is popular so I would definately wait before purchasing an AP.
