If you're looking to find discounts any way possible, like I am, buying an annual pass and Tables in Wonderland don't benefit (obviously) unless you go more then 10 days to the WDW parks. My family and I are booked to go in December 2014, and I was weighing the option of getting an AP and TiW vs. the discounts it would give for dining, parking, etc. The AP costs $266, and the TiW cost $100 (with $25 discount), which equals $366. I've went through the restaurants I want to eat at, parking for all days we'll have a ticket for (5) and it equals to roughly under $200. If anyone out there can help me figure out how to make this benefit me more, I would buy the AP and TiW, but I can't get it to work out for me. Any ideas, please post! Thanks!

You have to spend $500 on TiW dining just to break even, not counting any extra outlay for buying an AP if you weren't going to do that previosuly. It's just math. If you're only spending $200 for dining with it, it's not for you.

These items will benefit you only if you use them enough to offset what you paid for them. Some folks may be able to do that in less than 10 days. And it will not work for everybody. Just because it's a discount doesn't make it a good deal in all situations.

Is this a Florida AP? The regular AP costs much more than $266. Or is this an upgrade? APs should be looked at as park admittance - if you're going to use it for park admittance enough to pay for it, it's a good deal. The perks and discounts should be secondary.

I'd be interested in knowing where you are going to eat at WDW for 5 days and spend under $200, including parking. $14 a day for parking alone is $70. That sounds like it has to be counter service. If that's what you were thinking of doing, then the TIW will not be what you want, because it is only good at a few counter service restaurants.

Or is it $200 per day, or $1000 for 5 days...in which case maybe look into the TIW again - but not if the AP won't be worth it for you, since I don't really suggest you buy the AP just to get TIW.
