Me, DD 19, DD14, and my sister are staying offsite (Well, Disney Springs) for the first time in 20 years so I haven't had to even think about parking fees at the parks until this trip.
DD19 has an AP so she wouldn't have a parking fee but... on our first day at Disney she and my other DD are going to a park (probably AK) and my sister and I aren't. I'm guessing dropping them off won't be hard because DD will have her AP to get into parking but I'll be driving and drop them off and my sister and I go back to Disney Springs until the girls are ready to go back to the hotel.
Do I only have the choice of paying the parking fee to pick them back up or them waiting for the Disney Springs Hotel shuttle to pick them up or if I was already in the parking lot once that day I'm okay to pick them back up?

All of the parks have a drop off/pick up option that they don't charge for. You just tell them at the booth that you're either dropping or picking and they give you a colored piece of paper for the windshield and you'll be directed to a drop off/pick up area. We've only used it at AK and DHS, but they're both fairly close to the front and are where taxis and rideshares drop and pick up. I'd imagine that Epcot an TTC are similarly positioned.
