Staying at GF and have annual pass that needs activation. Can I do it there or do I have to go to Disney Springs or a park?

You need to do it at guest services at the park or Disney Springs. The last time I did it it took a little while just to get in to see a cast member so plan accordingly.

Do you know if you can activate your gold pass a day early? That is, our current passes expire November 3. We've already purchased the renewal but I understand we need to activate in person. Rather than using up valuable early morning time at Magic Kingdom on the morning of the 4th, can we activate the new passes sometime on the 3rd? Will activating a day early change the start date?

By ang chance would you happen to know the hours of operation for guest srvices in Disney Springs. TIA

If it is a renewal it is already activated. Just ticket into the park as you normally would.

At Disney Springs, the Disney Ticket Center can activate APs and they are open 10 am to 9 pm daily.

Some people have been turned away from the actual Disney Springs Guest Relations location when trying to activate an AP and sent to the Disney Ticket Center instead.

Activating a day early will NOT change the start date. It just makes it easier to enter the park the first time. We usually go to GR at the nearest park, if we're staying onsite, or at DS (the Official Ticket Center) if we're staying offsite.

Thank you! That's what I wanted to hear.

If I was staying at GF, I would just monorail over to the MK and take care of it at Guest Relations on check in day (unless I was going to be at Disney Springs for dinner, etc.)
