Annual Meetings Minutes

I'll take a wild stab ...about 95% of DVC owners don't go to the
annual meeting at their respective resort(s). This might be even a
conservative number! Being that could be the case...
Are there minutes taken at the Annual Meetings?
If minuets are taken, can a DVC owner get copies of said minutes?

Are there any DVC owners that have gone to any meetings that might
be able to inform the DVC public on how to obtain the minutes?

I can't be the only one out there who's curious!

AFAIK, DVC does not publish minutes of the annual meetings to the members. The actual official business meetings are short and quite dry, anyway. The most interesting stuff is usually from the Q & A session held immediately afterwards - and that isn't really a part of the official/required annual meeting agenda.

FWIW, the last few years, we've had some pretty good summaries posted here by DIS'rs who attended - often the same day the meetings were held! All you have to do is read this board right after the meetings are held. I'm sure some kind soul will do the same again this year.

I'm a musician, and I just have to tease a bit. I don't think they dance minuets at any of the DVC meetings.
Seriously, I have never seen any minutes published for any of the annual meetings. They are all pretty cut and dried and stick to a very stringent agenda. Most every thing that is said appears to be scripted.

Well, they've been dancing around the question of the Contemporary Resort as an upcoming DVC site for awhile. Wouldn't surprise me if that kept happening.

We've been to several, and for different home resorts. I'd estimate there's about 50 people at an average meeting. If that holds true, then for 7-resorts that's about 350 total.

So out of 80,000 members it means that 99.6% don't go to the annual meetings.....

Gee, Bill, there were about 100 at the OKW one last year. Maybe the AP discount had something to do with that!

Sooo....any of you who do make it to a meeting remember you've got an anxious group of fellow members waiting to hear any "news" you might want to share.

Remember when word of the OKW slide broke at one of these meetings?
