Spring is around the corner, and it will be time to get into your garden to start planting all those vegetables, flowers, and other plants. Or maybe you do not have an area for a garden. You could still have a pot of herbs or other plants. Hmmmm or are you that person who have always wanted to try gardening, but never made that move. If you fit into one of these catergories, then come, and join us.

This swap is a garden swap, but it is not limited to just that. You can send seeds, bulbs, garden decorations, tools, or anything you wish that are garden related that your partner has listed, or you think they would like. However, it would be nice to include some seeds or bulbs for your partner to plant or get started with.

Just a couple more days left till this exchange closes. Remember you don't have to strictly stick to seeds/bulbs, you can send items that are garden related as well.

Come, and join us. :flower3:

I am going to close this exchange, and will be sending out names. I am going to keep this thread as our sent/received thread. So once you have sent out your exchange, and as you receive your exchange, could you please come back here to post of its status. :flower3:

Patsy made my day here, with gladiolus bulbs, a bird treat feeder, a hand trowel and a seed kit for Valentine flowers! Thank you.:flower3:

Last year, I also received gladioulus bulbs and they were so beautiful when they bloomed. I had plenty of cut flowers and still left some in the garden. This year, I'll plant them in our front garden. I've planted some parsley seeds in a pot near my kitchen sink and I look forward to seeing the Valentine Flowers grow there too! DH and I have always fed birds and I look forward to seeing them enjoy this new feeder!

I'm going to try to go out tomorrow. Yesterday DH was operated on because he tore a ligament when he slipped on the ice on Tuesday. I'm still recovering from an operation on my toes. When I'm able to buy and mail, I'll post here!

You're welcome :goodvibes. No rush on the exchange, and hope you and your husband both get well soon. Happy Gardening! :flower3:

Patsy spoiled me, too! I got herbs to grow inside since our weather is so wierd lately, a digging tool, and some Zinnia seeds. I love Zinnias! Thanks Patsy! Yours is almost ready to go!

I went out today myself for the first time since the operation and mailed my package. It will take awhile, but I did get delivery confirmation.

Hope that means you are feeling better.

What type of shipping method did you use? Priority or Parcel Post?

It's going parcel post...so don't hold your breath. Estimated delivery is Feb. 23rd. I didn't want to spend $18 on postage....sorry.

As far as how I feel, the pins were taken out on Monday and since then I don't walk with the idea that any time my foot will feel sharp pinches. So...this is more or less a piece of cake. Today was the first that I drove myself because, I still have a boot.

OMG, Patsy! I'm gonna be late sending your package! I guess I already am, huh? I'm waiting on one last box to put in your box and it's local so should be here today or tomorrow at the latest. I'm so so sorry! I hope it's worth the wait, though, and you'll get it soon as it's going out Priority, of course! Gotta love flat rate boxes!! :goodvibes

No problem Edna. You were sick, and this exchange is with only the three of us. :flower3:

Hi...expected delivery date of the package I sent was Feb. 23rd. Has it arrived?

No nothing yet. Usually takes 1-3 months. I will post as soon as it arrives. Thank you for checking on it Bobbi.

OK...sorry for this delay. I did believe them, but the next time I won't.

Bobbi

Yes, not everyone gives out the correct info. but since it is not the holiday season, hoping it made it out on the first boat avaliable, and it is traveling its way over here.

Thank you Edna for the fun items. I had received gladiolus bulbs, metal pot hook, and a solar powered dancing floor. :flower3: CUTE!

Will plant the bulbs the following day :).
