Annual Florida Drive Out Deals to US Northeast April 1 - May 31

The annual drive out deals from Florida to the US Northeast from April 1 - May 31st are back with most of the major car rental companies. Typically any size vehicle up to a full size is $10/day with unlimited mileage. Good option if looking for a cheap one way flight from Buffalo to Florida for example and then drive back.

Do they also do the reverse, presumably sometime in the fall, to move cars from the northeast to FL at a lower rate like this?

I taken advantage of the annual drive out deal before. We rented from Alamo at Tampa Airport and drove home to Massachusetts. Total cost was under $200 for a 12 day rental.
We are doing the same again this year but picking up in Orlando and the cost is again under $200. Got a low airfare for the flight down but the return flight was costly so this is a great deal for us. We actually enjoy the drive home

We did this last year. My daughter and family of 6 are doing it again this year. You can do an suv for 19.99 or minivan for 24.99. She booked through national for 2 days and 1 hour so could apply a coupon with a 3 day minimum.
