It's my understanding that the annual DVC meeting is Dec 7th (I read it in another post about 5-6 months ago). Is that correct? If so, has a time and place been determined yet? I can't seem to find the info anywhere

under Condo Association News... duh... I must have scanned through every sub menu 100 times and never saw it.

any idea from prior years when they post the location?

To me the condo meeting is like staying AKV CL. We did it a couple of times, no need to do it again. All you can do is sit and listen, maybe after talk to DVD/DVC management but at two different meetings I was told "great question, we will get back to you", they never did.

well that's a little anti-climactic

I've signed up to attend a couple of times. Have yet to decide that it would be more fun than whatever else we were doing at the time and actually go. :rolleyes1

We've attended a few times. IMO, it's a nice way to spend a few hours. They've had treats for attendees after the meeting. :) The number of members who choose to attend seems to be growing. The last one we went to (in 2015) filled a very large room in the Contemporary's convention center.

I would not make a special trip to attend, but would make room in the schedule to go if it occurred during my trip. FWIW, the bloggers do a good job of summarizing anything interesting that gets announced there. A lot of them seem to publish almost in "real-time", so I don't think I really miss much when I'm not able to be there in person. If only they could teleport those treats!!

Great description! The only good things I've ever gotten out of DVC meetings were meeting a fellow DISer (I remember you and your mother, Chuck S) and hearing about the pool slide coming to OKW.
