How are the annual dues billed? Is it monthly, quarterly or in one annual lump sum? TIA!

One lump or if you have a USA bank, you can set up monthly payments.

Bill comes in December. Is due in January or as mentioned, you can set up monthly payments.

Grace period is mid February to pay in full.

If you set up monthly, you can pay off balance at any time during the year.

Yes you may use gift cards. I typically pay mine (just did) all with gift cards in January. There is no limitation online for number of gift cards used, you just do multiple transactions of “pay by contract”. I do not pay monthly, but I understand that you may pre-pay by card and the system will not then take that month’s draw from your checking account.

Not with Annual Dues, alas. Only with the purchase of direct points.

You can use a Disney visa to purchase as many points as you want. A Disney Visa purchase is considered a cash purchase so 25 points at most resorts, and 50 points, I believe, at CCV and RIV.

Awesome, thanks!! We’re in the middle of purchasing a contract resale and are going to add on direct points 25 at a time until we hit blue card status. That also gives us time to see what happens and what all comes back as far as “perks” go.

Be careful, DVC might just keep increasing the minimum to get the Blue card while you are adding on small amounts.
