You will receive a bill in the mail -- no need to pay it before then. Then you have a couple of choices. You can pay it all at once using a check or credit card. Alternatively, you can spread it out over the entire year using a monthly direct debit to your checking account.

We pay online. Then you get this really "un-official" looking e-mail thanking you for payment. But is does work, and I will pay on-line for my new BLT points (as soon as I get a bill).

We have ours deducted monthly from our checking account. I don't see the need to hand over the full amount to DVC when there's no increased charge for paying it monthly.

We pay on-line with our Disney Visa and use the rewards towards our next vacation.

I call MS and pay the lump sum before I even get the bill (Jan.). I usually apply some reward dollars from my Disney Visa Reward Card and put the balance on my Disney Visa Credit Card (for more rewards, lol). I think I applied about $470 in reward dollars this January.

We use the monthly EFT. Don't even have to think about it that way. It just happens.

You can call MS ask for accounting pay with your Disney credit card
and get the Reward Points !

:cool1:

I was paying monthly out of my checking account but this year decided to pay up front with a credit card using tax return $ and sock away the extra $ each month in a savings account instead of making the payment.

You will earn more interest over the course of the year if you save the tax refund upfront and then pay the dues on a monthly basis -- DVC does not charge interest or a fee for this service.
