Annual dues on disney site

I just found my due statements listed.

Just tried to pay mine and got this message for each of my subcontracts: "We can not process a payment for Contract Number xxx.6 at this time because you currently have a pending transaction for this Contract. Please try again later. "

WHAT pending transaction? I have no pending transactions.

I called DVC, and they said they are having trouble with paying the online dues..

Thanks for posting Goldi! I have been trying to pay my dues online over the last several days but keep getting the "sorry...that page is not available" message (or something to that effect). Did they mention whether they expect to fix the problem anytime soon?

There is a small reduction for overestimated property tax and a $30 credit for "extension expenses".

I am stumped also. We joined last year in March and our dues were prorated last year beginning in April. Our dues for 2007 taking into the consideration of the prorated were $510. This year, a fully year of dues they are around the $490's mark. I can't remember the exact amount but I am in the ballpark. I am extremely happy about this and surprised.

I just viewed my online statement. Why is it when taxes are underestimated they take the full additional in your January payment but when they are overestimated, they divide the credit among all your payments......

Turns out the pending transactions were my payment of dues. Even though the site told me it wasn't working, my American Express charge has the 12/24 charge for my 2008 dues. So, I didn't have to keep trying to pay them because the first attempt was successful, despite our "wonderful" DVC website telling me the opposite.

I got the same message today when I went to pays my dues by CC. I checked our balance on our CC statement online and sure enough it was processed. I printed the payment receipt just in case!
