We did the monthly debit originally, starting from when we purchased our contracts for our annual dues.

This past August, I switched banks and closed the account I was using for that. So, rather than risk any issues with the changeover and potential late dues payments, I just paid the remainder of my 2007 dues in full with my credit card and then paid the CC with a check.

Now, I would like to restart the monthly thing on my new account for 2008's dues. I know I need to call MS and whatnot.

My question is: How will they do this? Am I going to need to fax anything to them? When we purchased AKV last month, I did send in a voided check for the new account and said I wanted the dues done monthly, however, I don't think they did that.

I ask because I live in the middle of nowhere and will have to go to Kinko's 1/2 hour away to fax anything. I want to plan time for it this week so everything is in and ready for 1/15. :goodvibes

Call MS, go to "accounting" on the promps and ask accounting what you need to do. I am guessing the AKV portion is already on monthly. Also, unless you canceled monthly, I am guessing your prior ownership is still on monthly but it has the wrong bank account shown for the file -- the fact that you might pay it off during the year does not end the monthly designation and it would just start up again this year but what will happen unless you changed the bank designation is that they will go to debit your old account and be rejected. Note sure whether you will need to send another canceled check or fill out another form that needs to be faxed (or mailed), but they will tell you what is needed and likely you should assume something will need to be faxed or mailed..
