Hello,

This is my first year as a member (just purchased this past December). I set up my account to do monthly auto payments for my annual dues. The first payment was due on March 1st and i just noticed they did not remove it from my bank account and they are saying my dues are late. Would have called MS but they close at 7:30pm EST. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Will give them a call tomorrow after work (don't feel like waiting on hold for 25 minutes at work).

I thought everyone's payments were taken at the same time, mid- month. Mine comes out always around the 15-16th. I could be wrong on that, maybe payment dates vary. How did you pay in January and February?

You will obviously have to talk to them but possibly your auto draft hasn't been set up yet or set up properly. You would never have a late payment with an auto draft that's working properly.
 
Payment debits can be set-up for either the 1st or 15th.

Will have to call Member Services to resolve. Make sure that you select the option for Member Accounting. It's a different department / different reps than the group who manages DVC reservation activity.
 
I didn't close until the end of January. I think that is why I didn't have to pay until March. My due date is March 1st though. Guessing the autopayment did not get set up properly, will find out tomorrow when I give them a call. Thanks for the tip, Tim!
 

Yep, Frank, same issue. I just switched from yearly to monthly and had the same problem. Call and make sure they're fixing it. If you need to make a reservation, call Member Accounting first, and they'll pass you over to Member Services with a special OK so that your account isn't blocked.
 
Me too. I'm a new member and even though I signed up for autopay in January, they didn't take the payment and then Feb 15 sent messages about dues being late. Annoying. An email to them sent from dvcmember.com did the trick.
 
I sent mine in too late in January, so when my 15th of February came around I had two payments taken out.
 
missed my 7 month booking this morning because of their supposed new system. I'm a member since 1995 and have been doing direct debit since the beginning. Last month I changed bank accounts. I called Member Accounting on March 1st because I didn't see a payment come out, they told me there was an issue and it would come out on the 7th. I've been calling weekly and on this past Friday I was told that now it would come out on the 21st. This morning I went online to book a vacation for Oct 19th and I'm locked out. I was told they have a new system and there's issues, it should be fixed by tomorrow.
