One doesn't exist that I know of! But can you imagine the cost on one if it did? I was renewing my Six Flags season's pass + season dining pass today and was sad to drop $90 on the dining pass when my friend asked me how much I thought an annual dining plan to Disney would cost to go along with my annual pass! I thought and thought, and couldn't come up with an answer.

We agreed that it'd be something like you get the one quick service, one table service meal, and 1 snack during every day you visit the parks - for the length of your annual pass.

How much do you think one would end up running if Disney ever did something like this?

Well, considering that the current dining plan costs $63.70 per day and an annual pass is only cost effective if you plan on going to Disney World 11 days in a calendar year, WDW would have to charge $700 to break even on the AP holder who visits least. Factor in that most AP holders visit more than 11 day and many visit waaay more than that, I can't imagine WDW offering this for anything I could ever afford.

The 6 flags basic dining pass is 1 snack and 1 QS lunch (lunch hours)
They may be offering a premium upgrade for free, the premium adds a QS dinner.
(Lunch and dinner are mostly sandwich and fries, no drink, (but you can buy a $20 refill all year cup) no dessert)

And Six Flags is seasonal hours only, $90 is pre-ordering 2017

Got my SFNE AP for about $60, expires this Jan. Added the basic dining plan for about $29. Got quite the deal.
I can't begin to imagine the cost of a Disney annual dining plan!

I understand the six flags cost/situation, I wasn't asking for a cost comparison lol. I was playing imagine if to try and get an idea of what a Disney similar plan would cost. Sort of a "can you even imagine..." thing

That's what we were trying to figure in! The per day cost times what would be considered "reasonable" or average for the AP visitor but we just couldn't figure out a cost point without making our eyes bulge!

It's a fun thought.

It seems Six flags is trying to convert a 5-10 day/year visitor into a 20 day/year visitor. (I would see it as pre-pay for 10 days and the rest are "free" as the basic appeal)

I'd almost think Disney would have to be targeting 10-20 day guests into 30 day/year guests

The same plan as Six Flags would be 2 basic enteees (burger and fries) and 1 snack. That's about $28/day OOP
This would have to be a tier lower than QS, like capped at $13.99 entrees.

If they pre-sold an annual food plan for $400.. and Disney's food cost was (a common) 25% that $400 covers Disney's cost for 57 days usage. Does $400 appeal to any guests?

I don't think this is a good idea for Disney, and I think that it will result in lower quality for guests, so I'm just throwing a number out there for fun. I guess over $1000 AND with major limitations-- counter service only and completely blacked out during the most crowded times, or maybe only available on weekdays. I understand that it would be a great deal for some very few people, but after paying $600ish for APs, I couldn't justify further upfront costs and would opt for OOP.

It would cost me more than if I just paid out of pocket. Dining plan has never saved me money and that's kind of the point of it. as long as most never get the value they spend on it, it's a profitable way to allow people to prepay and think they are saving money.
