the birth of Ella Marie, born Saturday, September 14 - 9lbs 2ozs and 21inches.

No, it's not mine (officially) it's my sister's second little girl. Cousin Emily and big sister Mari Beth are so excited. She was not due until the 24th and had a schedule c-section for this Tuesday. Oh, well - nothing like a change in plans. We made it to Charleston in 2 hours and 43 mins (usually takes 3 1/2 hours) of course there was NO traffic at 3 am. Just thought I'd share.

Congrats on the safe arrival! I was in the same boat this weekend-my best friend gave birth to a baby boy on Sept 13th!! He is just adorable! She was to be induced as she was overdue but went into labour on the way!! Got lots of pics to scrap!

lOVE that name, Ella. So sweet. Thanks for sharing the news- nothing better than the thought of a new baby to brighten ones day. Just hearing the news brings back the scent of a newborn baby. I remember buying all kinds of baby products prior to the birth of my daughter so she would smell good. Boy was I ever surprised. They 'come' smelling that good- no need for perfumed products! It's my favorite smell
