Announcement - Planning Journals

After some discussion the moderators have decided to invite those posters who would like to, to start their own planning journals here on the DIS. For now, we will be keeping planning journals here on the main board.

While we encourage members to use the planning journals as a record of their wedding / vow renewal planning, please continue to ask general questions on the main board as it may see more traffic than your planning journal and you'll get an answer quicker that way.

Also, just a friendly reminder that the DIS is a public forum. Anything you post can be seen by anyone and everyone. That includes your vendors, family, and the staff of DFTW.

Yay! I'd love to start a planning journal. How do I start? Do I just start a new thread and title it "planning journal"?

Yup - Just start a new thread. I would include your screenname in the thread title, too. That way when there is more than one planning journal its easier to find the one you are looking for at a glance. Have fun!

That's really cool! Might I suggest also keeping a written one? I journaled from the time we got back from getting engaged at WDW till the day of our wedding. I gave it to DH as his wedding present and he loved it. And it's a great reminder of the process.
