Announcement before new FP+ are available?

Hi all,

Does Disney usually announce ahead of time when FP+ for new attractions (Frozen Ever After) will become available? Or do we just have to keep checking? I know it goes without saying that news will make it to these boards, but I'm hoping to be ready to book mine as soon as the window opens!

Not usually....

Recent examples (though not new rides): nighttime attractions at AK. FP just started showing up a few days after they announced the park would be open until 11pm. Also, the A&E meet and greet FP that ended on May 26th and then got extended to June 11th...fairly certain those were not announced either. Soarin was announced to open 6/17 and I believe it was rumored when the FP would show up but not announced.

Someone may correct me if I am wrong, but I'm fairly certain that info is correct.
