My DW and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in Nov 2015. We disneymooned in 1985 so we want to do Disney in a big way. I get 5 weeks of vacation and she is a teacher + we have teenage boys who will be going with us. We will have to travel in the summer.

Here is our really rough planning so far

Leave on July 30th driving down from NH (DW has a extreme fear of flying) and take the 7 day cruise on Aug 1st

Go to WDW on Aug 8th staying until Aug 22nd

We will get the 10 day pass with hopper and waterparks.

Where we stay is still up in the air. I want CBR to keep with the Caribbean theme. DW wants POR or WL.

No dining plan because we already went thru all the days and menus and it would be over $400 cheaper for OOP, Besides we have our own car and may go into Orlando for a few meals.

Congrats on the 43rd!! It make me feel like a newlywed:)

We have gone in May before and it is a great time to go. The weather is warm and the crowds are lighter.

Congratulatoins on years! What a great reason to celebrate Disney-style :lovestruc

We are celebrating our anniversary at WDW too! This June it will be 25 years. We waited for number 25 to go to WDW so the boys would be in collage and we could go by ourselves. :lovestruc :rotfl: (Without them we will save a ton on food!) And the very last day of our trip is DH's 48th birthday so he picked out a breakfast buffet that sounded good to him.

And like the OP, we are both teachers too so summer was our only option if we wanted to stay two weeks. I'm counting down the school days!

Congrats to everyone celebrating their anniversaries for so many years! I thought 25 was a lot! Also fun to find that we are not the only ones who think Disney is a good anniversary celebration. Most people ask us why we aren't going to Hawaii. :rotfl:

We'll be celebrating our anniversary in Disney in 2015 too! :) We'll be there November 17-27, 2015. We haven't decided where we're staying yet though. Hubby wants to stay at ASSp..I like Sports ok, but not especially for my anniversary...ha!

Uh, yeah. Maybe you should be in charge of picking the resort! ::yes:: When we first started planning 5 years ago I was going to do Poly. Then I watched the room rates go way up to ridiculous amounts and we decided on POFQ. People have said it is very pretty and I liked that is small. No way was I doing a value on an anniversary trip! :rotfl:

Yeah, I'd rather not go a value! lol
I've almost decided on POR. I'd love to do a deluxe, but GAH! They are ridiculous!!
