I thank you all for your help on this board. Many people have said to note my 1 year anniversay on our ADRS -- it is noted on our CRT meal, but the CM said that she didnt put it on any other meals and in order to fix that she would have to go back through every single ressie.

Also, the last time we were there they had a statement on my ressie's about my severe coconut allergy so I got to see the chef at every meal to make sure there was no exposure. Again, when I mentioned it to the CM she said she would have to go back through every single ressie and add it.

I feel bad making all that work... should I just let it go... or should I have them add that and while they are adding that they could add that it is our anniversay trip? What do you guys think....

PS. I will be posting my ressie's this weekend.. :)

I think I would have them go back and mention the coconut allergy. That is a health issue!

The "mentioning it is an anniversary" when it really isn't does turn into a big controversy on these boards. Not that WDW cares ... nor do I. If they have to add the coconut allergy, they may as well add anniversary.

Me, personally - I only had anniversary marked on our real anniversary but we are kind of low key people and I didn't want too much fuss.

I'm glad you had it added to CRT. I believe I read your other thread about that. That will really be a fun dinner - we loved CRT!!!! (That wasn't our anniversary so it is fun there whether it's a special day or not!!).

Have fun at WDW! :thumbsup2

Let me just speak for the members of the Dining team... please have your allergies added. Ideally it would be mentioned before the first reservation is made (so that when your information is copied to make other reservations during that call the allergy note comes too and the agent can give you the number direct to the location in case you'd like to speak to the chef). But if you or the agent forgot, your health and safety are more important to us than the couple of minutes it'll take to make the adjustment. :)

I had a CM do that last year. Heck! It's your anniversary, and quite a few restaurants did special stuff for us throughout our stay for our anniversary. I say do it. You wouldn't want to miss out on a potential nice surprise. Maybe that CM just didn't feel too enthused about going through each ressie, but the CMs I have gotten have been very pleasant and enthusiastic about helping out. :goodvibes Congrats on your anniversary!!!

Definitely have them add the information about your allergy. It would be terrible if somehow you ended up getting something that had a coconut product used in it and it ruined your vacation.

I'd also have them add the anniversary. 1st off you're already having them add the food allergy and 2nd it's your anniversary. I don't see why the date matters. My DH and I had our honeymoon in Disney and we try to go back every year to celebrate our anniversary. We wear the anniversary pin and have it noted in our hotel reservation and on our ADRs. We celebrate the whole time we are there. Whether or not Disney does anything extra special for us is just an added surprise.

Definately let them go back and put notes on everyone of your ADR'S.
Don't feel bad this is something you need to do.
HAPPY ANNINVERSARY!

Can I ask what restaurants you are going to for your anniversary? We are planning on going in October for our 1-year anniversary and I have to still make ADRS! Just wanted some suggestions, thanks!

Here are somne suggestions from my 25th Ann back in April. They were 2 tbs.
California Grill
Citricos
Narcoossee's

They were all great! :thumbsup2

Jenna,

I love Disney, and we are trying almost all new restaurants this year. In order we are going to

Whispering Canyon
Morocco Restaurant Marekesh
Boma
California Grill
Cinderella's Royal Table
Hollywood and Vine (early lunch/dinner with Fantasmic package and then later night dinner at Kona Cafe
Jiko

Jiko, CG, and CRT are 2TS credit. We went with the Disney Deluxe Dining PLan as well... just wanted to eat REALLY well.

Enjoy!

The allergy must be noted so I'd call back. I would take the tack of "...oh, and while you are in the files, can you note our anniversary, please?"

If this helps, we'll be on the deluxe dining on our anniversary trip and for 11 days. Last night I asked a CM to double check each one for me. She may not have personally been thrilled about it, but if she wasn't she never let on. She was the usual Disney sweetness and took care of it for me. :goodvibes
