Happy Anniversary!
Not to steal your moment but today is actually my anniversary too (8 years) and DD's birthday (3). It's a big day
DH and I normally just go out to eat (alone) or maybe get dressed up and see a show. A couple of times we've gone out to eat then to a fancy hotel downtown (Atlanta).
We rarely go out on our actual anniversary since we share the date with DD.
We typically don't exchange gifts. Unless you count the flowers that DH always buys me.

We ended up going to Claim Jumpers. Love their Ribs-yum! We also had the free motherload chocolate cake card that came with the giftcard my sis gave us. DD enjoyed her mini corndogs. After dinner we hit Wal-mart x-mas section. Came home and watched tv. Dh works tomorrow so he was in bed by 10pm. Its cold here in Calif I know its nothing like the other areas in the world. It was a nice night. I think dh and I will celebrate our 5yr anniv then 10, 15 and so on.
