Dbf and I are planning a 4 year anniversary trip.. two months before our anniversary, haha. We are planning on Jan-February, since I heard that Jan-Feb are the least crowded. I am sure the park hours won't be the greatest but with little crowds we will have enough time to get everything we want to do in! I was just wandering if Jan 31 through Feb 3 is a good week to go? I am so excited about this trip I want everything to be perfect! DL doesn't have their park hours and ride closures up though, so I am a little worried about that. Any tips? I can't sleep I want this trip planned like right now!! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

yeah, i do know that, which is really sad :sad2:. but... we have seen it before so i guess it's not that big of a deal. the lake at DCA will be filled back up by then though won't it? I swore I heard that somewhere... haha. :)

DH and I just returned from our anniversary trip a few weeks ago. My trip report link is at the bottom of my signature. You may get some ideas from it. :goodvibes

Oh you will have fun together.. Just remember to relax and spend lots of happy time together..don't rush to do this or that.

We like to go to the Lounge at the Grand Californian..and have a drink, they have a yummy nibbly bit menu and we love their sticky ribs.. also the cheese plate was super good. They have little areas to sit and visit in, we like to sit at one of the tables for two by a window and play checkers with the chess pieces:rotfl: We usually leave a coin or two in the wooden cigar box for the next person to find.:goodvibes

Have a great time..and be sure to get the photopass..it's so nice to have pics.

They are refilling the lagoon in DCA now. :) Hours will be much less, expect DL to close at 8 during the week and 9 or 10 on weekends, DCA will close at 6 during the week and 8 on weekends. But the crowds are much smaller so that will help a lot. Also, be aware that it could rain while you're there, if you stick it out you'll find tiny crowds, we really like it when it rains in DL! :) Have a good time!

Crowds were a lot lower, especially when it started to rain. A hint, if it starts to rain while you're there see if you can get inside, in a shop, in a restaurant, in a show, by the time you're done the rain will probably be done. Also, one really good thing about the parks closing at 8, you can eat off site and save so much $$! Head over to the Garden Walk for dinner, or to DTD, or down Harbor to Joe's Crab Shack! When we go in Jan we always eat late.

Oh I'm sure we won't mind running around in the rain!! =D I can't wait. I am going to surprise him by doing the Segway tour! :cool1:
