My DH and I are thinking of going to WDW in late September to take advantage of free dining. It will be an anniversary trip without our DDs. I already posted on the restaurant board for suggestions for romantic dinners, now I'm lookng for romantic things to do or see at WDW - shows, rides, attractions, etc. Any suggestions? :confused3

I think strolling through the parks at night is romantic with the music in the background. ;)

The DW and I went to WDW late last year w/o kids to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The DW has stated several times that she enjoyed this trip more than any prior trip. We were free to do what we wanted to do. No rules, no schedules, no real plans... An honest to goodness "spontaneous" WDW vacation. We watched the Candlelight Processional 3 nights in a row (a small portion the 1st night, the entire show the 2nd night, and about half of it the 3rd night). Try doing that with kids... :)

Haven't done it yet, but hope to soon partake of a romantic carriage ride around Port Orleans Resort. They're also available at Fort Wilderness but the "romance factor" at PO French Quarter is probably higher. I also hope to stroll the beach area around the Polynesian Resort sometime. Most resorts have pretty grounds that are good for a romantic stroll. Champagne or coffee with a pasty at Boulangerie Patisserie. The Boardwalk Emporium had FairyTale Cuvee in their cooler, which I took back to the room for a toast on our balcony with Illuminations in the distance.

You could book a garden tour at EPCOT, you would be strolling around looking at flowers and learning more about how Disney does them. My DH and I just took a trip and did a number of tours, this is one of the ones we are looking into for later along with the World Showcase tour which one of the members of our Future World Tour said was excellent.

I think strolling the gardens in England, watching the movie in France, and holding hands on Soarin', along with the Mexico ride are all romantic.

The biggest thing is letting yourself slow down and enjoy the world together. Take time to smell the roses and spend your time talking.
